Burlington – New Gallery

03.02.2015

After the decision of Burlington Paintings Ltd. to withdraw from the art trade, former Managing Director Angela Hardy, continues in business.

A new gallery is currently being prepared in Central London and will open in Spring 2015. The new gallery will deal in fine 19th and early 20th century British and European art with a selection of exciting contemporary artists.

Angela has over 35 years experience in the London art trade and the gallery will continue to be one of the most friendly and approachable in London. Drawing on her considerable expertise, the paintings will be carefully chosen for their condition, excellent quality and value for money.

Contact Angela to discuss all aspects of collecting or selling pictures: a very personal service is offered, including the opportunity to try the paintings at your home.

Welcome to the new Burlington Buying website – designed to guide you through the process of selling your paintings to Burlington. We don’t buy any paintings regardless – we are looking for the best examples of the artists we specialise in. But if you have such a picture you’re considering selling, Burlington Paintings is the place to come to get the speediest service and the best price.

Many people mistakenly think that going to auction is the best way to sell art or antiques. However, various expenses and the commission charged to both the buyer and seller mean that over 40% of the final sum realised can be paid to the auctioneer as commission. Selling to Burlington results in the vendor receiving the full amount without deductions, and with immediate settlement.

If you have a painting that you’re thinking of selling, check on the new website to see if the artist is one we specialise in. If so, send us an image and the details and we’ll get in touch to let you know what we advise.
